Does Technology Make Us More Alone?
This is a tough question because I think it also depends on the person using the technology. Some people can easily get addicted to sitting on their phones, scrolling, and yes, that, in turn, can make a person feel more alone. However, some use technology to create groups of like-minded people who communicate and share their interests. There are also events listed, so you can use the technology to find out what's going on and be social. I think that sometimes people get too caught up in their phones, though, and miss out on moments with the people around them. It's hard to live in the moment amongst your peers when you've got your eyes stuck to your phone. I'm sure you have seen it: a group of kids, all together but on their phones, and no one is talking. Pretty crazy, but if we let technology indulge us too much, we may miss out on great conversations and opportunities in real life.
